Pragati scholarship AICTE-2022
Pragati Scholarship AICTE-2022 to encourage women to pursue technical education has been released. Eligible girls in diploma and degree categories can get financial support through this scholarship. Two girls from one family can use this opportunity. To get this scholarship, the family’s annual income should not exceed 8 lakh rupees. Selection is based on academic merit.
Pragati Scholarship in the Telugu States
A total of 10,000 scholarships are available across the country at the rate of 5,000 each in the Diploma and Degree categories. In addition to these, the scholarship facility will be added to all the female students applying from the designated Union Territories and States.
diploma category: 318 scholarships have been allotted to Andhra Pradesh and 206 to Telangana.
degree category: 566 scholarships have been allotted to Andhra Pradesh and 424 to Telangana.
Eligibility
Must have passed 10th/equivalent examination from a recognized school to apply for diploma category. Must have taken admission in technical diploma level course for this academic year. Candidates who have joined the second year of their diploma through lateral entry can also apply.
Apply for Degree Category i.e. Passed Inter/XII/Equivalent Examination from a recognized Board. Must be admitted to any technical degree course. Candidates who have got admission in the second year through lateral entry can also apply.
Must have taken Diploma/Degree admissions from an AICTE recognized institution within two years of completing 10th Class/Inter. Those receiving other merit scholarships from Central and State Governments, those studying under the PMSSS scheme, those enrolled in non-technical courses, those admitted in dual degree/PG courses, and those receiving other stipends/income are not eligible to apply.
Scholarship
Scholarship for three years for technical diploma regular course, two years for lateral entry candidates, four years for technical degree regular course, and three years for lateral entry candidates. 50,000 rupees per year for college fees, purchase of computers, software, stationery, books, equipment, etc. This amount will be credited directly to the girl’s account under the Direct Benefit Transfer system.

Documents to be enclosed with the application: 10th class/inter certificates, mark sheets, income proof; letter of admission in the concerned course; tuition fee reset; bank account number with Aadhaar link; IFSC code; caste proof; Aadhaar card; photograph of the candidate.
