SSC CGL notification-2022
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released notification for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination-2022 to fill 20 thousand posts. Through this notification, the recruitment of 35 posts in Group-B and Group-C cadres of Central Government Departments has been initiated. Types of Posts
Among the 20 thousand jobs are Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Inspector of Income Tax, Central Excise Inspector, Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Group-B), Sub-Inspector (Group-B) in CBI, Divisional Accountant in CAG. There are posts like (Group-B).
SSC CGL Qualification
All types of jobs require a bachelor’s pass. For the post of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer, the passing of PG in CA, ICWA, CA, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or Business Economics is an additional qualification.
For the posts of Junior Statistical Officer, candidates should have passed with 60% marks in Mathematics at the Intermediate level and then completed Bachelor’s degree. OR should have studied Statistics as a subject at Bachelor’s degree level. Must have obtained the specified qualifications by October 8, 2022.

The maximum age limit for almost all the posts is 30 years. 32 years for Junior Statistical Officer posts and 18-27 years for Group-C posts. 01-01-2022 has been mentioned as the cut-off date for the upper age limit.
What is the salary?
47,600-1,51,100 for Group-B gazetted posts; 44,900-1,42,400 for Group-B non-gazetted posts; 35,400-1,12,400 for other posts in Group-B; 29,200-92,300 for Group-C posts, similarly 25,500-81,100 Mentioned pay scale of Rs.
SSC CGL Selection process
The selection process will be in two stages namely Tier-1 and Tier-2.
The tier-1 exam will be held for 100 questions-200 marks. In this, questions will be asked from General Intelligence and Reasoning and Reasoning (25 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (25 questions), and English Comprehension (25 questions). Each question will carry 2 marks. The duration of the exam will be one hour.
Tier-2
The tier-2 interview will be conducted in four papers in the next stage for those who secure certain cut-off marks in Tier-1 and stand on the merit list.
Paper-1: Paper-1 will be conducted as Session-1 and Session-2. Each session will be divided into two sections. In Session-1 (Section-1), a total of 60 questions of 30 questions each will be asked from the Mathematical Abilities (Module-1), Reasoning, and General Intelligence (Module-2) sections. Each question carries 180 marks with three marks each. In session-1 section-2 .. Module 1 named English Language and Comprehension will have 45 questions, and Module 2 will have 25 questions in the General Awareness sections.
A total of 70 questions carries 210 marks. In session-1 section-3 exam will be conducted from module-1 named computer knowledge with 20 questions for 60 marks. In Session-2, Data Entry Speed Test named Section-3 (Module-3) will be conducted for 15 minutes. Paper 2 will be conducted on the Statistics subject with 100 questions for 200 marks. Paper-3 will be conducted on General Studies (Finance and Economics) with 100 questions of 200 marks.
Candidates for all posts must appear for Paper-1. Paper 2 will be conducted only for the candidates for Junior Statistical Officer posts. Paper-3 will be conducted for the candidates for Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer posts.
