B.Tech in NICMAR University
NICMAR University, Pune has released a notification for admission to B.Tech, MBA, Integrated MBA (BBA/BBA Honors-MBA), PG Diploma, and M Plan, programs. The duration of MBA and M PLAN programs is one year, the BTech duration is four years, Integrated MBA course duration is five years. To get admission to these programs, admissions are given through Common Admission Test conducted by NICMAR University for UG and PG status.
MBA Program
Advanced Construction Management 600, Advanced Project Management 120, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 15, Real Estate and Urban Infrastructure Management 60, Sustainable Energy Management 30, Environmental Sustainability 30 seats.
There are 30 seats in MBA (7 Choice Based Immersive Specializations) programs. It includes specializations in infrastructure management, supply chain management, business analytics, management consulting, people and communications, marketing analytics and digital strategies, and financial strategies.
Integrated MBA Programme: It has 60 seats.
There are 60 seats for PG Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Contract Management.
60 seats in BTech Civil Engineering.
There are 30 seats in the Master of Planning (Urban Planning).
Eligibility
Degree(/Engineering/Architecture/Planning/Science/Arts/
Commerce/Management/Mathematics/Statistics/Agriculture/Pharmacy) followed by specialization for admission to MBA PG Diploma Programmes.
Degree (Architecture/Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering/Construction Technology/Planning/Urban Designing) or Master’s Degree (Geoinformatics/Geography/Economics/Sociology) must be passed for the M Plan program.
For admission in B.Tech, Integrated MBA programs should have passed Inter/12th class with first-class marks. Candidates who have completed inter-level courses in 2021, and 2022 and currently preparing for the final year can apply.
NICMAR Admission Test-Selection Process
150 marks are fixed for the total selection process for degree-level programs. In the admission test, questions will be given for 25 marks each from the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Best of Reasoning, and General Knowledge topics. 50 marks are allotted for a personal interview. 66.67% weightage is given to the admission test and 33.33% weightage to the interview.
PG-level programs are allotted 300 marks. 180 marks have been fixed for the admission test. In this, questions will be asked for 72 marks for Quantitative and Analytical Ability, 36 for Data Interpretation, and 72 for Verbal and General Ability. 20 marks for group discussion, 30 for a personal interview, and 70 for a rating of the application.
Based on the marks obtained in the admission test, the shortlisted candidates will be given group discussions and personal interviews and admissions will be given according to the RA score. 60% weightage for the admission test, 16.67% weightage for GD, interviews, and 23.33% weightage for a rating of the application.
