The computer is probably hard to imagine life without computers in today’s modern world. In this era, there is no field where the computer has not entered. The man who invented such a wonderful tool today has reached a state where not even a minute passes without its help, so can we estimate its power? So far, no other machine invented by man has made as much impact as the computer, which means that the importance of the computer can be understood. So let’s know what a computer is.
What is Computer
A computer is an electronic device. It receives the data of our given problem and analyzes the data according to the given program and gives the results.]
Computer description
A calculator for doing calculations, a typewriter for making letters, a dresser for hiding letters, a video player for supporting video games, a tape recorder for listening to songs, a TV for watching movies, a tool for controlling machines and robots in factories, and many more. A computer can be used with little modifications.
Computer architecture
Although there are different types of computers, the personal computer generally used by everyone has a typewriter-like keyboard according to its structure. Through this keyboard, we provide the necessary data to the computer. A device called a central processing unit is used to analyze and process the data received through the keyboard. The central processing unit has a TV-like device called a video monitor for us to view the analyzed information. A tool formed by the combination of such minimum items can be used to add devices such as printer mouse, scanner, etc. to increase the functionality of the computer.
Difference Between Computer and Man
Man perceives, thinks, and reacts accordingly. But the computer takes data as input, processes it, and gives output. If we observe these two things, it can be said that there are close similarities between the work done by computer and the work done by man.
Receiving data: Keyboard, mouse, scanner, etc. devices are used to receive data and provide it to the computer. These are called input devices. These can be compared to human eyes and ears.
Data control: Just as the brain controls all parts of the human body, the microprocessor in a computer controls all parts of the computer. It takes the data from the input, analyzes it with the help of a program, and produces the results.
Giving results: The parts like printers, monitors, etc. which receive information from the processor and give it out are called output devices. These can be compared to the mouth, hands, and eyes which receive information from the human body and brain.
