AGRICET & AGRIENGGCET – 2022

Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad has released the AGRICET and Agri Engineering Set 2022 notification for admission to Agriculture Degree Courses. B.Sc Honors (Agriculture) through AGRICET-2022; B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) programs through Agri Engineering Set-2022. Candidates from Telugu states who have completed diplomas in agriculture-related disciplines can apply.

AGRICET-2022

Eligibility: Those who have completed a Diploma (Agriculture Seed Technology/Seed Technology) from Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University are eligible.

Age: General and OBC category candidates should be between 17 to 22 years of age, SC ST candidates should be between 17 to 26 years of age and PwD candidates should be between 17 to 28 years of age.

Seats: There is a total of 71 seats in the BSc Hons (Agriculture) program. Out of these, 58 seats have been allocated for Agricultural Diploma candidates, 7 seats for Seed Technology candidates, and 6 seats for Organic Agriculture candidates. 7 seats have been allocated under the EWS quota and 11 seats under the self-finance quota.

AGRIENGGCET – 2022

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed Diploma (Agricultural Engineering) from Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University/ Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University can apply.

Age: General and OBC candidates should be between 18 to 23 years as on 31st December. SC and ST candidates should be between 18 to 26 years. Disabled should be between 18 to 28 years.

Seats: BTech (Agricultural Engineering) program has 8 seats. One seat is under the EWS quota and one seat is under the self-finance quota.

AGRICET & AGRIENGGCET – 2022 Entrance Tests

These are computer-based tests. A total of 100 multiple choice objective questions will be given in each test. Candidates will have to write the relevant interest test in the section chosen for the diploma. AGRICET candidates will be asked questions from Agriculture/Seed Technology/Organic Agriculture Diploma Syllabus and Agri Engineering Set candidates will be asked from Agricultural Engineering Diploma Syllabus.

Along with these, questions will be given on the topics of technology developed by Jayashankar University, new products, general agriculture, schemes introduced by central and state governments related to agriculture, general English, and the basics of computers.
