CLAT Notification-2023
The ‘Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023’ notification has been released for admissions to leading universities in India. Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs can be obtained through this notification. This exam is conducted by ‘The Consortium of National Law Universities.CLAT Notification-2023.
Hyderabad NALSAR, Visakhapatnam DSNLU, Bangalore NLSIU, Bhopal NLIU, Kochi NUALS, Jodhpur NLU, Odisha NLU, and other 22 law colleges are participating in it. Seats are alerted based on the score obtained in CLAT 2023 based on the selection of candidates. The test will be in offline mode. The duration of the exam is two hours.
Undergraduate programs
It is an integrated LLB program of 5 years duration. with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized board
Inter/Class XII/Equivalent course passes can apply. 40 percent marks is sufficient for SC and ST candidates. Candidates appearing for final year examinations in March/April 2023 can also apply.
UG CLAT test
A total of 150 multiple-choice questions will be given. 28-32 questions in English; Current Affairs-General Knowledge 35 to 39 questions; Questions 35-39 will be asked in Legal Reasoning; Questions 28-32 in Logical Reasoning; 13-17 questions will be asked in Quantitative Techniques. Total 150 marks per question. A quarter mark will be deducted if the answer is wrong.
Post Graduate Programme
It is a one-year LLM program. Candidates who have passed LLB/equivalent courses with second-class marks can apply. 45 percent marks is sufficient for SC and ST candidates. Candidates who are preparing for final year exams can also apply.
Details of PG CLAT
A total of 120 multiple-choice questions will be given. Questions are asked from Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Contract Law, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, etc. The total mark for each question is 120. A quarter mark will be deducted if the answer is wrong.
