Eligibility
Anyone who has completed any UG degree or completed at least two years in any UG degree can apply. IIT Madras brings together the opportunity to study these courses from anywhere. All courses are online. There are no age restrictions.
All applicants are required to appear for an in-person qualifier test and obtain the minimum cutoff marks required for admission to the program.
Diploma Qualifier Examination in Programming: English, Aptitude, and Basic Mathematics subjects are to be studied for the qualifying examination for Diploma in Programming. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
Diploma in Data Science Qualifier Exam: The diploma in Data Science Qualifier Exam asks questions from English, Programming in Python, Mathematics, and Statistics subjects. The duration of the exam will be 4 hours.

Access to a laptop/desktop device along with a good internet connection is critical to learning effectively from our courses.
Application fee
General category / OBC applicant ₹6000 rupees.
SC / ST category / PWD applicant has to pay 3000 rupees.
SC / ST category applicant also PWD ₹1500 rupees.
