MBA With Business Analytics- Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has released notification for admission to MBA in Business Analytics program. The duration of the program is two years, with two semesters per year for a total of four semesters in two years. Candidates will be selected through National Test Scores, Business Analytics Aptitude Test Merit, and Personal Interviews. Financial assistance will be provided.
BITS Pilani MBA Business Analytics
The first three semesters consist of on-campus classes. There will be an internship/dissertation in the final semester. The programs include workshops, project works, interaction meetings with industry leaders, and international immersion. The first semester includes Managerial Economics, Financial Statement Analysis, and Reporting, Marketing Management, Managing People and Organization, Statistics and Warehousing, and Programming for Analytics. In the second semester, the topics of Strategic Management, Corporate Finance, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Data Visualization-Ethics and Data Privacy, Time Series Analysis-Forecasting, and Predictive Analytics will be explained. In the third semester, Deep Learning for Business, Prescriptive Analytics-Mathematical Programming will be covered. Electives should also be studied.
Qualification
Candidates who have completed any degree with first-class marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply. Those who are currently preparing for final year exams can also apply. Candidates have to submit degree certificates and mark sheets by October 1. Candidates should have studied Mathematics or Statistics as a subject at Inter/XII/Degree level. CAT 2022/XAT 2023/GMAT 2022 qualification and professional experience will be preferred.
BAAT 2023 Details
It is conducted objectively. All multiple-choice questions will be asked. There are two sections in this test. First is the Management Aptitude Section. The duration of this test is two hours, in which there are questions about Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Second is the Analytics Aptitude Section, the duration of the exam is one hour. In this basic aptitude questions related to computers and mathematics will be asked.
Selection process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit in BAAT and called for an interview. BAAT score, interview score, national exam score, experience, academic merit, programming language skills, etc. for those selected in the interview and admissions are given.
