National Institute of Technology (NIT) Puducherry has released a notification for admission to Ph.D. (203 January session) program under Visvesvaraya Scheme. The duration of the program is 5 years. Candidates have to send a research proposal along with the application to get admission to this program. Shortlisted candidates through written tests will be interviewed by Visvesvaraya Scheme Selection Committee and shortlisted candidates will be selected. Ph.D. in NIT Puducherry-2023.

Eligibility Details
Must have completed (Master’s Degree/MS) (CSE/ECE/EEE) with first-class marks from a recognized University. Candidates who have passed (BE/BTech) (CSE/ECE/EEE) with a minimum of 90% marks from CFTI institutes along with a GATE valid score are also eligible to apply.
Financial support
Rs 38,750 per month for the first two years and Rs 43,750 per month for the last three years. House rent reimbursement of up to 24 percent/16 percent/8 percent of the fellowship will be given depending on the city of residence of the candidate. 1,20,000 will be paid annually under a contingency grant. 1.5 lakhs for attending international conferences and 10.5 lakhs for visiting labs abroad.
